Strategic Priorities Need Critical Role Evidence
A priority becomes fragile when the organization has not identified which roles carry the judgment, capacity, relationships, and context required to deliver it.
Start with the work
A strategic priority does not create a generic staffing requirement. It creates specific work that needs judgment, authority, capacity, relationships, and supporting conditions. Treating all roles as equally critical can hide the real constraint.
Use a role evidence read
For each critical role, define the outcomes it must enable, the capability the work requires, current capacity pressures, commitment questions to explore directly, and the context leadership must provide.
Practical next action
Use the Talent Map Review for one role or small role set before deciding that a new hire, performance action, or succession move is the answer.
