Five lenses and limits

Direction → Design → Talent → Performance → Culture

Work & Theory starts with the work an organization must accomplish, then examines whether people have a workable way to do it.

01

Direction

What are we trying to accomplish?

Purpose, ambition, strategic choices, priorities, and tradeoffs.

02

Design

What organization does the work require?

Roles, decision rights, workflow, information flow, and critical interfaces.

03

Talent

Who can do the work?

Capability, capacity, commitment, and the context required to succeed.

04

Performance

How will we know the organization is working?

Outcomes, expectations, authority, feedback, development, and consequences.

05

Culture

What behaviors sustain the system?

What people consistently expect, reward, tolerate, reinforce, and model.

What the model assesses

The Health Check and Diagnostic organize the evidence a leader provides into questions about work, operating conditions, and leadership choices. The free result is a response-based starting point; the paid Diagnostic provides a fuller structured leadership read.

How to interpret results

Use results as hypotheses to test in the next leadership conversation. Start with the lowest-scoring condition, examine the contributing evidence, and choose a small first action before changing people or systems broadly.

What it does not claim

It does not establish cause, diagnose people, provide an organization-wide finding, replace interviews or protected colleague input, offer legal advice, or substitute for leadership judgment.

Privacy boundary

Health Check progress is stored locally in the browser until you submit. Submitted scorecards are associated with the contact information you provide so they can be reopened from the same device or later dashboard flow. Individual 360 responses remain private; leadership sees aggregate findings only.
